Correspondence training (coursework received and submitted by mail or email) may be an option for you if you live far from any schools. Find out how your VA education benefits may help pay for correspondence training.
Can I use my VA education benefits for correspondence training?
If you’re using any of these VA education benefits, you can get help paying for correspondence training:
- Post-9/11 GI Bill
- Montgomery GI Bill Active Duty
- Montgomery GI Bill Selected Reserve
- Transferred education benefits (for qualified dependents)
Note: Children using Survivors’ and Dependents’ Educational Assistance or Fry Scholarship benefits may not enroll in correspondence training.
What benefits can I get?
If you’re using Post-9/11 GI Bill benefits or transferred education benefits, we’ll pay you back, up to an annual limit, for tuition and fees.
